Description
The ultimate lightweight, breathable, fast drying, and fast transitioning Triathlon shoes. The TX224 has taken a new approach to how Triathlon shoes function by not sacrificing comfort and adjustability for fast entry/exit. Our unique design allows for superior adjustment and a familiarity of a closure system that runners will appreciate. The TX224 is the perfect combination of technically advanced upper materials, a secure closure system and an ultralight and stiff carbon sole.
Shoe composition:
- Last: CX Race/CX Competition/CX Comfort Plus. The TX224 is the first in the industry to offer the same model in three distinct last shapes and widths. The Race Last is ideal for narrow feet, the Competition Last suits mid-size feed, and the Comfort Plus Last is perfect for larger feet or fans of barefoot shoes.
- Outsole: Lake Race or Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole. Lake Comfort Plus Carbon Composite Sole.
- Upper: The Clarino Microfiber upper features a NuFoam breathable, wicking shell with a Trek-Dry antimicrobial liner and a heel-side mountain elastic rubber band holder for quick transitions. NuFoam's unique design keeps your foot cool and dry. The innermost layer of the NuFoam package is Trek-Dry, an antimicrobial and wicking fabric made from carbonized bamboo that draws moisture away from the foot towards the surface of the shoe. The middle layer is a 2mm closed cell perforated foam that acts as a spacer, allowing air to flow into the shoe and creating evaporation. This cooling system helps keep the foot dry and comfortable.
-
Closure:
Single hook & loop strap with speed laces.

Disclaimer: This size guide is for reference and for best fit. Trial and error fitting may be necessary for proper comfort. Perfect sizing through online 2 dimension sizing is not guaranteed. Shoe sizing is not a perfect science as we all have unique foot dimensions. These variables in foot shape are individual to each of us and may require sizing up or to a wider shoe. In some cases that are not easily measured without having in-person interaction.
